Dogs We've Helped
Most people don’t realize shelters and streets across the United States, especially in California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida, are facing an unprecedented dog overpopulation crisis.
Nearly 400,000 dogs are euthanized in U.S. shelters each year, a number fueled by overcrowding, backyard breeding, and limited resources.
I couldn’t just sit by and watch, so I started sharing the stories of working breeds on the euthanasia list in hopes of helping them find their forever homes before it’s too late, and to support any other dog that needs help along the way.
The truth is this is an uphill battle with no end in sight unless serious changes happen. We need stricter breeding laws, more accessible and required spay and neuter programs, and a community committed to change.
